Municipal Enforcement
The Municipal Enforcement Officers are responsible for the enforcement of the Hamlet of Baker Lake's municipal by-laws in addition to selected territorial/federal acts and regulations that are designated within their authority by the territorial government. The By-law Officers remain committed to doing this while maintaining the trust and confidence of community members.

Loose Dogs
As part of the enforcement of hamlet and territorial animal control laws, stray dogs are picked up and taken to the community's pound. Every effort is made to locate and contact the animal's owner within 72 hours of the dog being picked up. If you have lost your dog, you are encouraged to contact the By-law Officer at (867) 793-1313
